Which height to choose
Artificial bamboo comes in six heights here, priced from €24.95 to €349. We measure from the bottom of the pot to the tallest leaf.
- 57 cm: for a sideboard, desk or windowsill.
- 91 cm: on the floor next to a chair or on a low cabinet.
- 123 and 144 cm: fills a corner or a spot next to the sofa. The 144 cm has a wide ø30 cm pot and looks fuller.
- 180 and 210 cm: a tall bamboo for a hallway, an office or a room with a high ceiling.

Why artificial bamboo
Real bamboo grows fast, and some species spread through the garden via runners. Indoors, real bamboo needs lots of light and quickly gets dry, yellow leaves. An artificial bamboo stays green anywhere, even in a hallway or an office without a window. It does not outgrow its pot and no leaves fall on the floor. Repotting or watering is never needed.
Artificial bamboo outdoors
Lots of people look for artificial bamboo for outdoors. No problem: all XXLplant artificial plants are UV-resistant, so the leaves do not fade in the sun. Put it on a balcony, on the patio or in the garden, or indoors. Outdoors, rinse the leaves now and then with a gentle spray of water. In strong wind, secure the pot firmly or move it to a sheltered spot.
Styling and cleaning
A tall, slender bamboo looks good in a narrow pot in a natural or dark colour. Two or three side by side form a green divider between a seating area and a workspace. Wipe the leaves every few weeks with a feather duster or a slightly damp cloth to keep them fresh and green. You will find more large specimens among the large artificial plants.

In the Netherlands your artificial bamboo arrives in 4 to 5 working days, upright in a sturdy plant box. Delivery within the Netherlands is free from €99. If anything is damaged on the way, send us a photo and we will send you a new one free of charge.

Can artificial bamboo stand outside?
Yes. All XXLplant artificial plants are UV-resistant, so artificial bamboo does not fade in the sun. You can put it on a patio, balcony or in the garden. Rinse the leaves with water now and then and secure the pot firmly in a storm so it does not blow over.
How do you clean fake bamboo?
Wipe the leaves every few weeks with a feather duster or a slightly damp cloth. You can also gently blow the narrow leaves clean with a hairdryer on the cold setting. Do not use strong cleaning products, as they affect the colour.
How tall is the largest artificial bamboo?
The largest artificial bamboo in this collection is 210 cm tall. The smallest is 57 cm. Height is measured from the bottom of the pot to the tallest leaf.
