Pros and cons

According to our plant experts

Pro: Needs no water or light, so it can also stand in a dark spot.
Pro: In bloom all year round and never drops flowers or leaves.
Pro: Available in white or pink, from 135 to 210 cm tall.
Con: Does not purify the air or grow over time the way a real plant does.
Con: Collects dust, so you need to wipe the leaves with a damp cloth now and then.

Details

This artificial cherry blossom (Prunus) brings an attractive, romantic spring atmosphere into your home with lifelike pink blossoms on delicate, branched stems. Maintenance-free and beautiful all year round—ideal for those who love soft colours and Japanese charm.

Species: Prunus sp. (artificial plant) · Height: 175 cm · Material: plastic

This artificial plant mimics a flowering cherry tree (Prunus), with branches full of soft pink blossom. The artificial cherry blossom is 175 cm tall and realistically designed up close, with finely branched twigs and loose flowers.

That way you have a blossoming branch in the living room, hallway or shop all year round, even when it's winter outside. Because it's an artificial plant, it needs no water and no light. That means you can also place it in spots where a real tree wouldn't survive, such as a corner without a window or a meeting room. Dusting it occasionally with a soft cloth or a feather duster is enough. No petals fall, so there's no need to clean up. Don't put it in full sun for long periods, so it doesn't fade.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.

Frequently asked questions about Prunus sp.

The questions we're asked most about this plant. Can't find yours? Our plant experts are happy to help.

Ask your question

How do you clean an artificial cherry blossom?

Wipe the leaves now and then with a slightly damp cloth and it will look fresh again. The artificial cherry blossom needs no other maintenance: no water, no feeding and no sun.

How real does an artificial cherry blossom look?

It is a lifelike replica, with white or pink blossom on fine, branching twigs. From a few metres away most people cannot tell it is artificial. Up close, or if you touch the leaves, you can tell it is not real.

Does an artificial cherry blossom fit in a decorative pot?

The artificial cherry blossom comes in a standard pot (ø15 cm, depending on the size). Place it, pot and all, in a decorative pot a few centimetres wider so the pot is hidden. As it never needs watering, the decorative pot does not need a watertight base.

Can you put an artificial cherry blossom outdoors or in the sun?

Yes. The artificial cherry blossom is UV and weather resistant, so it can also go outdoors, for example on a patio or balcony. The colours stay vibrant, even in the sun. Outdoors, do place it securely or weigh down the pot so it does not blow over in strong wind.

How is an artificial cherry blossom delivered?

We ship the artificial cherry blossom well protected in a closed box. The largest plants go with a specialised carrier, otherwise PostNL or DHL. It usually arrives within 4 to 5 working days. If anything is damaged on arrival, send us photos and we will sort out a solution.
