Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.

Frequently asked questions about Alocasia, Calathea, Monstera, Pilea, Philodendron

The questions we're asked most about this plant. Can't find yours? Our plant experts are happy to help.

Ask your question

Which plants are included in the Baby Jungle Mix?

The Baby Jungle Mix contains Alocasia 'Dragon Scale', Calathea 'Dottie', Monstera obliqua, Alocasia 'Silver Dragon', Pilea 'Moon Valley' and Philodendron 'Pink Princess'. Each young plant comes in its own nursery pot.

How large are the plants in the Baby Jungle Mix?

Each plant is 10 to 15 cm tall, measured including the nursery pot, and comes in a ø6 cm pot. They are young plants that will continue growing with the right care.

How do you care for the plants in the Baby Jungle Mix?

Place them in partial shade without direct sun and keep the soil slightly moist. Small pots dry out quickly, so check them a few times a week. A humid room or a dish of water and pebbles nearby helps prevent dry leaf edges.

When should you repot the plants from the Baby Jungle Mix?

If roots emerge from the bottom of the pot, you can repot them into a pot a few centimetres larger. This is best done in spring or summer.

Are the plants in the Baby Jungle Mix toxic to pets?

Alocasia, Monstera and Philodendron are toxic to cats and dogs. According to the ASPCA, Calathea and Pilea are non-toxic. Keep the set out of reach if you have pets.
