Details

Three young tropical plants in one set: Alocasia Dragon Scale, Calathea Dottie and Monstera Obliqua. Each with a different leaf shape and colour, for a small jungle corner.

Contents: 3 plants (Alocasia 'Dragon Scale', Calathea 'Dottie' and Monstera 'Obliqua') · Height: 10 to 15 cm (including nursery pot) · Pot size: ø6 cm per plant

The Baby Jungle Mix is a set of three young tropical plants in a pot of ø6 cm. The Alocasia 'Dragon Scale' has thick, silvery-green leaves with scale-like veining, the Calathea 'Dottie' has almost black leaves with pink lines and the Monstera 'Obliqua' has delicate leaves with holes. The plants are 10 to 15 cm tall including nursery pot.

Together, they create a small jungle corner on a shelf or windowsill, for those who like to collect different leaf shapes. All three prefer partial shade or light without direct sun, in a warm room. Keep the soil slightly moist, but not wet. The Alocasia and Monstera are toxic to cats and dogs. The plants are in a nursery pot; choose a decorative pot separately.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.

Frequently asked questions about Alocasia, Calathea en Monstera

The questions we're asked most about this plant. Can't find yours? Our plant experts are happy to help.

Ask your question

Which plants are in the Baby Jungle Mix?

The set consists of an Alocasia 'Dragon Scale' with silvery-green, scale-like leaves, a Calathea 'Dottie' with dark leaves and pink lines and a Monstera 'Obliqua' with delicate leaves full of holes. Each plant is in a pot of ø6 cm.

How large are the plants in the Baby Jungle Mix?

The plants are 10 to 15 cm tall, measured including nursery pot, in a pot of ø6 cm. They are young plants that you can repot into a slightly larger pot after a few months.

How often do you water the Baby Jungle Mix?

Keep the soil slightly moist. In a pot of ø6 cm, this often means checking twice a week in summer and watering when the top layer is dry. Do not leave water standing in the pot.

Is the Baby Jungle Mix toxic to cats?

Partly. The Alocasia and the Monstera are toxic to cats and dogs, the Calathea is not. Keep the entire set out of reach if you have pets.

Why are the leaves of my Calathea Dottie curling?

A calathea rolls up its leaves in dry air or soil that is too dry. Water when the top layer is dry and do not place it next to a radiator. A bowl of water nearby helps increase humidity.
