This bird's nest fern, Asplenium 'Parvati', has glossy, slightly wavy leaves that arch outwards from a single centre. It is a wide, full plant 50 cm tall including nursery pot, in a spacious pot of ø27 cm. The leaves are entire rather than feathered, which makes it different from most ferns.

Place it somewhere without direct sun: in partial shade or shade in the living room, office or a bathroom with a window. There, the leaves stay beautifully green. Water the potting soil about once a week, not into the centre of the rosette, and keep it away from a hot radiator. The bird's nest fern is non-toxic to cats and dogs.
