The Calathea 'Stripestar' is a prayer plant with dark green leaves covered in fine, pale stripes. The underside of the leaves is purple, which you can see clearly when the leaves fold upward in the evening. This specimen is 40 cm tall including the grow pot and comes in a pot of ø12 cm.

It looks lovely on a sideboard, a side table or in a bright bathroom. Give it a bright spot, but out of direct sun. Keep the soil lightly moist with low-lime water or rainwater and don't let it dry out. Higher humidity prevents brown leaf edges. The prayer plant is not toxic to cats and dogs, so it's a safe choice if you have pets. You receive it in the grow pot; a decorative pot is sold separately.
