This Epipremnum pinnatum is 120 cm tall, measured including nursery pot, in a ø24 cm pot. With support to climb, it keeps growing indoors.
What is the difference between Epipremnum pinnatum and a pothos?
In shops many Epipremnum species are sold as pothos. The well-known golden pothos is Epipremnum aureum. Epipremnum pinnatum is a related species with green leaves that grow larger on older plants and can develop splits.
Can an Epipremnum pinnatum stand in the shade?
Yes, it tolerates partial shade and a somewhat darker spot. It does grow more slowly then and the leaves stay smaller. Strong sun can scorch the leaves.
How often do you water an Epipremnum?
Water when the top layer of potting soil is dry. In summer that is usually once a week, in winter less. Drooping or limp leaves are a sign it wants water.
Is Epipremnum pinnatum toxic to cats and dogs?
Yes, Epipremnum is toxic to cats and dogs. The calcium oxalate in the leaves irritates the mouth and stomach. Keep it out of reach of pets.
How is the Epipremnum pinnatum delivered?
The plant travels upright in its own plant box, with the crown in a paper sleeve and the pot secured in the box. In frost or heat a heat pack or cold pack is included, and large plants are delivered by our own courier.
