Details

Red flamingo flower with glossy green leaves and waxy spathes. A 55 cm tall houseplant for a bright spot without strong midday sun.

Species: Anthurium · Height: 55 cm (including nursery pot) · Pot size: ø17 cm

The red flamingo flower, Anthurium, has glossy green leaves and red, waxy spathes around the small flower spike. This houseplant is 55 cm tall including the nursery pot and comes in a pot of ø17 cm. The red colour gives a quiet corner, desk or sideboard a bright accent without the plant taking up much space.

Place the Anthurium in a bright spot with filtered light or partial shade. Bright midday sun can damage the leaves. Water when the top layer of potting soil has dried slightly and prevent the roots from standing in water. The plant likes an even room temperature and does not tolerate cold or draughts.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.
