These are four golden pothos plants (Epipremnum aureum), also known as Golden Pothos, each in a pot of ø12 cm. They have glossy, heart-shaped leaves in green with golden yellow stripes and speckles, ranging from almost solid gold to marbled. The plants are 15 cm tall including nursery pot.

With four plants, you can green several spots, such as a hanging pot in the kitchen, a cabinet in the living room and a desk at the office. The vines hang down or climb along a support. Place them in bright, indirect light or partial shade and water when the top layer of soil is dry, about once a week. Golden pothos is toxic to cats and dogs. The plants are in a nursery pot; choose a decorative pot separately.

How large are these golden pothos plants?

Each plant is 15 cm tall, measured including nursery pot, and is in a pot of ø12 cm. You receive four. The vines grow quickly and can become several metres long within a few years.

Where should you place a golden pothos?

In bright, indirect light or partial shade, without harsh midday sun. It does well in the living room, office and kitchen. It will grow in a dark corner, but with less gold in the leaves.

How often should you water a golden pothos?

Water when the top layer of soil feels dry, about once a week. Less in winter. Do not let the plant stand in soil that is too wet.

Is golden pothos toxic to cats and dogs?

Yes, Epipremnum aureum is toxic to cats and dogs. The leaves contain calcium oxalate, which irritates the mouth and stomach. Hang or place the plants out of reach.

Can you propagate a golden pothos from cuttings?

Yes, very easily. Cut off a piece of vine just below a node with an aerial root and place it in water. After a few weeks, there will be roots and the cutting can be planted in potting soil.

Why is my golden pothos getting yellow leaves?

Usually because of too much water. Let the soil dry out further before watering again. A single old yellow leaf at the bottom is normal.
