This marble pothos is 20 cm tall, measured including nursery pot, in a pot of ø12 cm. The vines continue to grow and can reach a metre or more within a few years.
Where should you place a marble pothos?
In a bright spot without harsh midday sun, for example on a cabinet or shelf a few metres from the window. It also does well in partial shade, but then the amount of white in the leaves decreases.
How often should you water a marble pothos?
Water when the top layer of potting soil is dry, usually once a week in summer. In winter, once every two weeks is often enough. Soil that is too wet causes root rot.
Is a marble pothos toxic to cats and dogs?
Yes, pothos is toxic to cats and dogs. The leaves contain calcium oxalate, which irritates the mouth and stomach. Hang or place it out of reach.
Why is my marble pothos getting yellow leaves?
A single yellow leaf at the bottom is normal. If several leaves turn yellow, the plant is usually getting too much water. Let the soil dry out further before watering again.
