Details

Twelve different plants with their own shape and colour, each in a pot of ø12 cm. Species vary with each delivery.

Type: Various houseplants · Quantity: 12 plants · Pot size: ø12 cm

The misfit box contains twelve different plants with their own character, each in a nursery pot of ø12 cm. The foliage can be green, variegated or coloured, some plants have flowers and some have a somewhat irregular shape. Which species you receive varies with each delivery.

With twelve plants, you can fill a plant rack, a windowsill or an entire room, and gradually discover which species grow best in your home. Place them in a spot with sufficient light but without direct sun, so that the foliage does not burn. Water moderately, keep the soil slightly moist and adjust watering to the season and the species. Not every species is safe for pets. They come in a nursery pot; you choose a decorative pot yourself.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.

Twelve different plants, each in a nursery pot of ø12 cm. They are plants with their own shape or colour, sometimes grown somewhat irregularly. Species vary with each delivery.

How large are the plants in the misfit box?

Each plant is in a nursery pot of ø12 cm. The height varies by species; they are small plants.

How do you care for the plants in the misfit box?

Place them in light without direct sun and keep the soil slightly moist. Look up the species name for each plant, then you will know exactly how much light and water it needs.

Are the plants in the misfit box toxic to cats and dogs?

That depends on the species. Because the composition varies with each delivery, there may be plants included that are toxic to pets. Keep them out of reach until you know which species you have.

Can you choose which plants are in the misfit box?

No, the composition is not fixed and varies with each delivery. If you want a particular species, choose that plant separately.
