Details

Tall pothos with green leaves on long vines. Low maintenance and suitable for semi-shade, 120 cm tall for lots of green straight away.

Type: Epipremnum · Height: 120 cm (including nursery pot) · Pot size: ø24 cm

The pothos (Epipremnum) is a climbing plant with green leaves on long vines. In the wild it climbs up trees; indoors it grows upwards along a support. This pothos is 120 cm tall including nursery pot and comes in a ø24 cm pot, so you have a sizeable green plant in your home straight away.

It suits the living room, the bedroom or the office, and also a spot with less daylight. Because it asks little, it is suitable for beginners and for busy people. Give it a spot in semi-shade or bright light without strong sun, and water when the top layer of soil feels dry. Do not leave water standing in the pot. Pothos is toxic to cats and dogs. The plant comes in the nursery pot; you choose a decorative pot separately.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

How your plant arrives in one piece

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.
Packed securely
In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.

Frequently asked questions about Epipremnum

The questions we're asked most about this plant. Can't find yours? Our plant experts are happy to help.

Ask your question

How big is this pothos?

This pothos is 120 cm tall, measured including nursery pot, and comes in a ø24 cm pot. With a support to climb along it can keep growing considerably indoors.

Can a pothos stand in the shade?

A pothos tolerates semi-shade well and can also stand in a somewhat darker spot. It then grows more slowly. Strong sun can burn the leaves.

How often do you water a pothos?

Water when the top layer of the soil feels dry. In summer that is about once a week, less in winter. Wet feet cause root rot.

Is a pothos toxic to cats?

Yes, pothos (Epipremnum) is toxic to cats and dogs. The leaves contain calcium oxalate, which irritates the mouth and stomach.

Why does my pothos get yellow leaves?

Yellow leaves are usually caused by too much water. Let the soil dry out further between waterings. A single old leaf turning yellow is normal.

How is the pothos delivered?

The plant travels upright in its own plant box, with the crown in a paper sleeve and the pot fixed in the box. In frost or heat a heat pack or cold pack is included, and large plants are delivered by our own courier.
