Eight different small houseplants in pots of ø6 cm, with a different mix with each delivery. They need little space and are suitable for a windowsill, desk or small shelf.

This surprise box contains eight different baby plants, each in a pot of ø6 cm. The plants are 12 cm tall including the nursery pot. The species you receive vary with each delivery, giving you a varied set of leaf shapes and colours for your home.

Small plants take up little space and fit on a windowsill, desk or small shelf in the living room, bedroom or office. You can also place them together in a bowl or terrarium. Give them a bright spot without direct sun so the leaves do not burn. Water only when the soil feels slightly dry, as too much water is the greatest risk. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot; choose a decorative pot separately.

Delivery

Shipping a two-metre plant takes more than a box and some tape. That's why we do it differently from an ordinary online shop.

Fresh from the greenhouse
Your plant does not sit in a warehouse for weeks. The grower only takes it out of the greenhouse after you order and prepares it straight away.

In a box made for plants. Plant and soil are secured and a protective sleeve keeps the leaves intact, so nothing shifts on the way.
Protected from heat and frost
Is it very hot or freezing outside? Then we add a cold pack or heat pack to the box, so the weather doesn't affect your plant on the way.
The right carrier for every size
Smaller plants are delivered by PostNL or DHL. The very largest plants travel upright on a pallet with a specialist carrier.
You know exactly when it arrives
As soon as your plant is on its way, you receive track & trace by email, so you can make sure someone is home and, for a large plant, someone to help carry it in.

Which plants are in the baby plants surprise box?

You receive eight different small houseplants. The species included vary with each delivery and you cannot choose them yourself.

How big are the baby plants?

The plants are approximately 12 cm tall, measured including the nursery pot, in a pot of ø6 cm. After a few months, you can repot them into a slightly larger pot, then they will continue to grow.

How do you care for baby plants?

Place them in a bright spot but not in direct sun and water only when the soil feels slightly dry. A room between 15 and 25 °C is good. Look up the species name for precise tips for each plant.

Are the baby plants poisonous to cats and dogs?

That depends on the species you receive. Some common houseplants are poisonous to pets. Keep the plants out of reach until you know which species they are.

Can you put baby plants in a terrarium?

Many small houseplants grow well in an open terrarium or bowl. Use a layer of gravel at the bottom for drainage and choose plants with the same light and water requirements.
